I do think that kind of decision is up to each parent too make. I did however have both my kids immunised because i thought it was for the best. But saying that once we did find out our son had a "problem" i didnt blame the MMR for it so im not against the MMR injection at all.

I dont think Ts injections caused his 'problems' because i knew he was 'different' before he was 1yr old, but i do know they had an effect on him as he had a febral convulsion following his first injections. He had to wait a long time over the age limit for his 2nd lot, due to the bad reaction he had from the first lot.

When T was 4 he was rushed to hospital and i was told i could lose him (temp, rash and losing oxygen) the medical staff were screaming at me about whether he had his injections or not because they thought he had meningitis, i told them he had the HIB not long ago and i know it was the HIB made him ill like that.

This was when i found out T was on the spectrum the nurses even approached me asking me how i cope with T, i told them i dont and broke down in tears.

From my experience i dont like the effect these injections are having on T, yet a another child can have no problems with having them.
