PostSubject: BT's Giant Sleepover   18/6/2007, 1:50 am

S took part in BT's Giant Sleepover on saturday with Cubs. Admittedly i was on edge till about 11pm as the only place he has stayed overnight successfully in the last 5 years is my mum's and even that wasn't without it's problems.
The idea was to break the record for the amount of people taking part in a sleepover at multiple locations at the same time.
I sat at home from the time he left at 6 till 11 with both the phones by my side, expecting that dreaded phone call, which never came yahoo

It was then that i felt i could relax. He had been looking forward to it for a week. When i picked him up they said on the whole he was good, he didn't sit through the dvd and he was crawling on the floor like a caterpillar but they left him to it and all the kids were asleep by 12 but woke by 5.30. He took part in the Minty Mouth Challenge, which surprised me as he hates brushing his teeth and usually causes us problems. I was so proud of him and told him over and over again, even grandad rang him to tell him proud

I think he liked the fact that they were give a goody bag as well which included a small pack of Rice Crispies, an Andrex puppy, a pencil, Top Trump cards and other bits.
