If you have never seen it have a look at the son rise program from the Options Institute in America. They are doing fantastic things with autistic kids by "joining" them in their behaviour.

They are coming to London in October to do a seminar. You can get a charity grant for your child to go to America as part of the program but you need to raise some money yourself and have volunteers to help you follow the program but there are some miracles happening to some kids.
